Chateau Lascombes
2010
Margaux, Bordeaux
96 points, Robert Parker
“One of the great Margaux wines of the vintage.”
Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate · February 2013
Chateau Lascombes is a second growth of Margaux, its parcels spread across the appellation. 2010 gave small, thick-skinned berries across the Medoc, and wines of deep colour and firm structure built for the cellar.
At fifteen years old the 2010 is in its drinking window, with years ahead of it. Robert Parker of The Wine Advocate scored it 96 points on release, and James Suckling 94.
