The 2022 Mercurey Vieilles Vignes offers simple but pleasant cranberry and crushed strawberry scents in the glass—a bit "blocky" at the moment. The palate is medium-bodied, with a simple, slightly flat entry and a mid-palate that feels just a bit overcooked. Tasted at merchants' 2022 Burgundy tastings in London.
