The 2024 Chablis Vieilles Vignes is matured for 12 months in used oak barrels with 10% new. This has a perfumed bouquet with yellow fruit, a little pithy in style, with hints of beeswax and blood orange. The palate is very well balanced with a lot of density for a Village Cru, a pithy mouthfeel, the oak very well integrated with a little reduction on the mineral-driven finish. Excellent.
