What the critics say

94+ WAWine Advocate, Erin Brooks, 20-08-2026

The 2023 Pinot Noir The Haven Vineyard has tightened up a bit in bottle since I first tasted it last year. It has broody scents of pomegranate, iron, damp earth and mushroom. The light-bodied palate offers surprisingly concentrated, crunchy fruit framed by soft, dusty tannins. It’s balanced by mouthwatering acidity and has a long, nuanced finish. It deserves several years in the cellar.

The 2023 Pinot Noir The Haven Vineyard Estate is a very pretty, sexy wine. Soft contours wrap around a core of vibrant, red-toned fruit. Cinnamon, new leather, blood orange, mint and floral overtones grace this gentle, inviting Pinot. Best of all, the 2023 will drink well with only modest cellaring. This is impeccably done.
