Pyrazines, gooseberry bush and boxwood are alive and well here on the nose of the 2025 Sancerre La Chatellenie. It's distinctively aromatic, with the firmness, drive and direction that comes from flint soils. However, there's a ripeness of fruit that fleshes out the flint terroir's steely minerality. Still, the flavours lack intensity and dissipate all too quickly after a bright start.
