What the critics say
88+ VMVinous, Stephen Tanzer, 01-03-2003
Bright red. Reserved, briary aromas of currant and menthol. Tightly wound and less sweet than the Charmes, showing pepper and spices and a hint of alcohol. Has size but is not yet filled in. Firmly tannic on the back. Seemed more harmonious from barrel a year ago; perhaps in an awkward stage today.
