What the critics say

94 WAWine Advocate, Luis Gutierrez, 30-11-2022

There are notes of cassis and even pear in the 2020 Un Lugar en Los Andes Malbec, a wine from an extreme place at 1,700 meters above sea level in Estancia San Pablo. The wines have exuberance but not high alcohol (this is 13%), and there's ripeness, combining red, black and blue fruit, with juiciness and very fine, abundant tannins. The palate has more austerity and finishes dry. 530 bottles were filled in June 2021 after some 10 months in used 500-liter barrel. This is a rarity because it comes from dry-farmed vines.
