Vatan's 2020 Sancerre Clos La Néore (magnum) is powerful and resonant in the glass. Decidedly rich and ample, the 2020 flows with the essence of dried pear, chamomile, dried flowers and marzipan. This is an especially concentrated vintage for Clos La Néore. The 2020 needs a number of years to be at its best, but I imagine it will always be an extrovert. Alcohol is listed at 15%. While I never worry too much about that, the 2020 is weighty.
