Aromas of citrus zest, crisp orchard fruit, clear honey and almonds introduce the 2020 Santenay Clos de Malte Blanc (Domaine Louis Jadot), a medium to full-bodied, charming wine that's bright and vibrant, concluding with a chalky finish. This is another success for this late-ripening site.

The 2020 Santenay Clos de Malte Blanc has a zesty nose with blood orange and light citrus aromas, just a very small reduction that is noticeable. The palate is well balanced and shows much more complexity and personality compared to the Santenay Blanc, a little chalkiness towards the finish and more persistency. This should mature nicely in bottle. Closure: Diam
