The ruby-colored 1998 Pommard Les Vignots has exceptional depth to its blackberry and black cherry aromatics. Medium-to-full-bodied and concentrated, this velvety-textured wine has loads of red and black fruits in its personality. Drink it over the next 7-8 years.

Full medium-red. Reduced aromas of raspberry, game and leather. Sweet, lush and dense, but could use a bit more verve. Finishes with thoroughly ripe, mounting tannins.
