What the critics say

Medium red. Locked up tight on the nose, hinting only at licorice. Then densely packed and imploded, with little in the way of sweetness showing. This very rich, spicy, earthy wine is brutally tannic now and hiding its personality. Classic 2008 in style, but this will need a decade or two to come around, if it ever does.
