What the critics say

The 2022 Puligny-Montrachet Les Perrières 1er Cru feels a little riper and more tropical than its peers and, consequently, it lacks the same degree of delineation and minéralité. The palate is well balanced with a waxy, pithy opening. It feels a little "worked" in the winery, with notes of stem ginger and lemongrass towards the finish. Fine, but I have a slight doubt about its longevity. Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting.

The 2022 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Perrières reveals aromas of sweet white peach, flowers and pastry cream, followed by a medium to full-bodied, satiny and sweet palate, concluding with an attractively saline finish.
