The 2022 Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes was cropped at 41hL/ha, one of the earlier vineyards picked. Blended with just over 50% whole bunches, it offers wild berry fruit, peppercorns and a dash of white pepper. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grain tannins. It’s a gentle, lilting Gevrey with a poised, persistent finish. Understated, but classy.
