What the critics say

The 2022 Saint Romain La Combe Bazin has a delicate bouquet with touches of yellow flowers and light citrus fruit. The palate is well balanced and cohesive, with much more complexity than the Auxey-Duresses, displaying notes of lemon rind and a slightly nutty/smoky finish. This should drink well for four or five years. Tasted at merchants' 2022 Burgundy tastings in London.
