The 2020 Pernand-Vergelesses Clos de la Croix de Pierre 1er Cru has a mixture of red and blueberry fruit on the nose, light violet touches and a touch of Indian ink. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannins, quite linear, balanced if just a tad conservative towards the finish. Fine.
