What the critics say

95 VMVinous, Antonio Galloni, 01-03-2020

One of the sleepers in Pomerol, the 2017 Vray Croix de Gay is bright, perfumed and wonderfully nuanced from start to finish. Red fruit, sweet tobacco and dried flowers add nuance to a bright, understated Pomerol that is full of character. The 2017 is every bit as impressive from bottle as it was from barrel.

93 WAWine Advocate, Lisa Perrotti-Brown, 16-03-2020

Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, the 2017 Vray Croix de Gay opens with notes of warm blackberries, boysenberries and black raspberries with wafts of stewed tea, fragrant earth and cloves. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is packed with expressive black fruit, framed by ripe, rounded tannins and plenty of freshness, finishing long and spicy.
