One of the most impeccably run properties of St.-Emilion, Larmande's 1996 is a big, toasty, rich, licorice, Asian spice, fruitcake, and smoky black cherry-scented and flavored wine. It reveals medium body, good richness, moderate tannin, and a long, concentrated finish. The 1996 will benefit from 2-4 years of cellaring, and keep for 15 or more years.
