The 2021 Haut Brisson feels a bit severe in this vintage. Dark fruit, plum, mocha, spice and new leather open with a bit of coaxing, yet its remains rather firm, especially in its structural feel. Frost was an issue here and affected some of the parcels that typically give the wine its juicy mid-palate.
