What the critics say

75 WAWine Advocate, Robert Parker, 01-01-1998

The 1971 Haut-Bailly is charming, but a little light and flabby. It is now in decline, taking on an even deeper and pronounced brownish cast. The velvety, soft, fruity flavors are likable, but fade quickly in the glass. Anticipated maturity: Now-probably in serious decline. Last tasted, 12/83.
