What the critics say

Alas, the 1955 Corbin Michotte is past its best. Light and very tertiary on the nose, there is a gap where the fruit ought to be and a noticeable chlorine scent. The palate offers sour cherries and a touch of Chinese plum sauce, but they are fleeting as it attenuates and dries towards a rather unappealing finish. Tasted at the Académie du Vin dinner in Bordeaux.
