A distinctly mediocre effort, with medium ruby color, a pleasing, yet one-dimensional, ripe, leafy, spicy, weedy aroma, average flavor intensity, and a short, simple finish. Some tannin is present, but this wine requires immediate consumption. Anticipated maturity: Now. Last tasted, 3/88.
