The 2023 Pinot Noir Botanica blossoms with a florist-shop bouquet of rose petals and geraniums, with nuances of lavender and citrus-tinged black cherry. It opens with pretty red fruit and soothingly round textures, as tantalizing acidity enlivens the senses beneath an air of cola and violet pastille. Darkly floral and perfumed, the 2023 finishes with outstanding length and a sweet-and-sour contrast as the mouth waters and hints of exotic spice fade.
