The 2021 Chassagne-Montrachet Les Chenevottes 1er Cru conveys a sense of airiness on the nose, well-defined with wet pavement notes complementing the wilted white flower and citrus fruit. This is nicely focused. The palate is taut and fresh; there's a nice "bite" here with tangy grapefruit and orange rind and plenty of substance on the finish. This is very promising.

The 2021 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Chenevottes wafts from the glass with aromas of minty pear, orange oil and honeycomb, followed by a medium to full-bodied, rich and satiny palate that's ample and seamless, with vibrant acids and a saline finish.
