What the critics say
90 VMVinous, Ian d'Agata, 01-03-2014
(an exotic blend of 60% carignano and 10% each merlot, cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc and syrah): Red-ruby. Exotic, liqueur-like aromas of red cherry, licorice and five-spice powder. Offers noteworthy volume on entry, then a fresh laser beam of precise red fruits and spices hits the tongue. Quite ripe and mouthfilling for this wine. Finishes very long and ripe, with youthfully chewy tannins and a hint of smoky herbs. This aged for 15 months in used small oak barrels.
