What delivery costs, how long it takes, who has to sign, and what happens if a bottle arrives broken.

How much is delivery?

£20 including VAT to mainland UK, and free on orders over £750 excluding VAT. In-bond transfers are £20 including VAT.

Do you ship outside the UK?

To selected destinations. Tell us what you want and where it is going, and we will quote the cost and the time.

How long does it take?

Duty-paid wine held in the UK is usually with you inside a week. Wine bought in bond and released for delivery takes longer, because it has to come out of bond first, and duty and VAT become payable at that point. We tell you what is due before anything moves.

Does someone have to sign for it?

Yes, an adult of eighteen or over. If nobody is there the courier leaves instructions for redelivery or collection. Wine is not sold to anyone under the UK legal drinking age.

What if a bottle arrives damaged?

Tell us within 48 hours of the delivery arriving. We will replace it or refund it.
